With the toothpaste, what about a comparison between words that are good and useful and those that are not? Squeezing toothpaste on a plate: not good. Squeezing it on a toothbrush, however: very good. In this illustration, perhaps having a toothbrush can represent the effect the grace of Jesus can have on our words? 🙂
Love the tea cup and saucer illustration. I think I’m going to take it one step further and have tower of several size plates and a cup. Keep pouring water into the cup; let it flow into the saucer, then that overflows into the next plate and so on. Not only are we blessed to be a blessing but as we bring God’s love to those near us they become blessed to be a blessing and God’s love spreads.
Love it! Thanks for sharing.
