Narrative Lectionary

Sunday: Isaiah Series

I am taking a break from Narrative for this summer, as it is hard for me to do this for the summer as so many are doing different things. However, I will continue to post a past link for the text tied to the series. Here is this weeks, for Isaiah

Narrative Lectionary

Text: Isaiah 9:1-7

Dollar Store Item: Something that reminds you of yourself. For me, it would be candy, or a book, or a deck of playing cards.

Thought about Donating to the DSCS?

Greetings Saints!

You can do so through paypal:

Thank you!

Or Venmo: @revjohn29

Or you can buy me a coffee here:

https://www.buymeacoffee.com/DSKidSermons

Thank you for all of your love over the last 10 (TEN… wow) years of the DSCS. I have so much fun doing this ministry and love the fact that I keep hearing from more and more of you.

One of my greatest joys is when I will have folks visit Zion Lutheran because of this site, or when you reach out and we have conversations online. It is Grace upon Grace for me! (I keep these comments and visits in my heart for the rainy day file… you know that file!)

Would you consider making a donation to the DSCS?

Please, would you prayerful consider a donation to the DSCS at this time?

Spring Board of Support

Greetings Saints!

This post could be seen as an annual fund drive for the DSCS if you will. The site is free, and will always be free, and my heart is warmed by the generosity of all the folks that take part in the ministry of DSCS in prayer and donations.

Narrative Lectionary

The Narrative Lectionary is wrong this week… I was in a hurry (or didn’t double check my work), and thought that the reading was the same as the RCL (mirroring last week). But alas, it was not, and the dreaded curse of the drop down menu struck again.

But here is the DSCS for the Narrative Lectionary reading from 2019…
