S.O.S. – Summer of Support

Summer of Support

If you have thought about supporting DSCS in the past, would you consider doing so now with a one time donation? If you have supported DSCS in the past, I am very grateful and thank you from the bottom of my heart. The support of DSCS through prayers, sharing the posts with fellow pastors and youth workers, as well as financially, is the only way this site and my ministry continues. Thank you.

There are folks that give five dollars, and when they do, I recieve a note from them that says, “I wish I could give more.” Please, any donation to the DSCS is appreciated. I can’t stress that enough. Thank you!

Beyond that, I am so thankful every time I hear, “I don’t use the sermons as they are written, but it gives me an idea of what I want to do.” I love it when folks use the sermons as I present them, and I also love that people are adapting the idea. This is truly an amazing God thing.

So, I am asking that you help DSCS, and myself, in a couple of ways:

If you can, please donate. Paypal makes it easy to use their site, even if you don’t have a paypal account. Link is at the bottom of this post. Would you share the DSCS page with pastors, children ministers and youth workers that might not know of the DSCS? That is how the DSCS continues. And continue to pray for those who hear the Good News of Grace through any means that God gives to us.

Our God is an amazing God!

~ John Stevens

  1. I really like the concept: using common objects to keep attention on The Message!

I used your “slop shuffle” several months ago and it was a hit!

Back when the www was all bulletin boards and chat groups, I helmed a group on Ecunet called “Sermons for Children” and I know how discouraging it can be to have no feedback from the “fans”. Keep doing it anyway!

Thank you for all you do.

How did it get so late so soon? It’s night before it’s afternoon. December is here before it’s June. My goodness how the time has flewn. How did it get so late so soon? ~Dr. Seuss

  2. If I can save you money on website hosting costs, let me know. I’ll send another donation your way soon. Wade Apel Pastor Servants of Christ Lutheran Church Indianapolis, IN
