Hi John. I was looking at your blog this week and I thought about another way of speaking of being sealed by the Holy Spirit. As I recall, sealing in the early church was associated with and done in conjunction with baptism. What about demonstrating this using a sheet of paper which has a “watermark” embedded that when held up to the “light” the watermark is made visible. I got this idea from a pastor friend years ago whose dad happened to work in the printing business.
I love it! Reminds me of using black light when I was a kid and used to go to the fair. They would see you are marked on the back of the hands.
I tend to use that as talking about the law show us our sin.
I really like using the watermark for the connection to baptism. Thank you for sharing!!!

Actually, a black light works better than a regular flashlight to highlight the watermark.
