Hi! I don’t know how to thank you enough for all your inspiring ideas for the kids! I have followed you for at least 3 years. I have been writing my own high school Sunday School lessons (based on the lectionary– for over 40 years) and confirmation lessons for over 20 years. I always check your children’s sermons out too! This week I am encouraging the kids to be like Mary and Martha who showed us the greatest commadment at work. I will show them little bags of M& Ms— they are great at delayed gratification! After the service they will get the little tiny bags of M & Ms to share– hopefully reminding all of us to be like M & M in our story. Fortunately I know these kids well enough so that I know their allergies or It would not work.
I live in Ohio or I would gladly visit your church!!!! My husband is also an ELCA pastor. Just thought I’d send a note to you and let you know that you inspire me every week. (Couldn’t use the hand lotion as I am hypersensitive to most smells from those kind of products.) I thank God for you!!!
