Text: Matthew 18:21-35

Dollar Store Item: Spool of Thread, Toilet Paper, Paper Towel. A lot of items that you can’t hold yourself. Canned food items that you ask your congregation to bring. The Baptismal Font.

The Take Away: We are called to forgive, out of a response to God’s love and forgiveness. — And we are gonna need some help!! The Baptismal font reminds us of the promise God made to us, and we make to the baptized… and we remember that promise again and again. Remembering that God claims us again and again… again.. and again.

The Take Away: The Rainbow reminds us that God made a promise to us. The baptismal font reminds us that God mades a promise to us, and we make a promise to the newly baptized.
