Thank you! I love all of your ideas. I think this is great, and I’m getting there with the trick – but when I hold ends of the elastic band (or lacky, as we call them in Australia) together, when it’s supposed to look like one, mine doesn’t seem to want to stay twisted together… I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, but I’ll keep practicing.

My suggestion is when the two ends are being held by the one thumb, make sure the lacky has enough tension. I get all four fingers of each hand inside the band, or at least the pinkies, to give it enough.
And the thinner the lacky the better.
