1. This was wonderful! Using it to talk about how the light turns on when it’s dark. It senses the darkness and it shines… Like how Jesus comes to us in darkness, to light our way… like how Jesus comes to us, shining like a light, when we are in the scariest, darkest, most lonely places…

   And how we, then, can bring the light to the dark places (like, sitting alone at lunch… having no one to play with at recess… being a friend to someone who is lacking in friends…).

   Jesus is our light; he guides us, he shows us the way. And, when we go forth in Jesus’ name, *we* have the privilege of bearing the light… of shining…
