  1. Wait; I get (I think I get) the theological part of the magic towel and God’s grace…but…what are we, or more specifically, what am I going to DO with the towel? Soak it in the font? Compare it to a regular towel that doesn’t get bigger when I soak it in the font?

    • I would get a bowl of water, rather than use that baptismal font.

But the water in the bowl can still be the waters of baptism.

Open up the plastic containing the compressed towel, and put it in the water as you talk.

If it doesn’t expand before the children’s sermon is done, then mention the kids can see look at is as they come up for Communion.

But the difference between the towel before and after is enough of the comparison.

      Help at all?

    • Oh, and when you put the towel in the water… Run…. Cause it expands so quickly…. Mmmm… Ok. It doesn’t. Wish it did, but it will expand. In a bit. Sometimes, it takes a bit for us to understand God’s Grace… But God is still working.
