Mine too! You’re welcome! (Travis is 6 years old.)
So I used your idea with the play dough. Told the kids to make something, anything and just enjoy playing with it, and I got this email from Travis’ mother, Melissa….
Good evening. Travis was playing around with the clay and came up with this cross. It reminded me of a few months ago when he said, as we were driving somewhere, “Mom, I am so glad my name starts with T.” after I asked why, he replied, “Because it looks like the cross and reminds me of Jesus.” Although he fights me on going to church and sunday school, it is moments like those that just melt my heart. He wanted me to share this picture with you. {There was a picture of Travis’ cross attached.}
Peace,
Melissa
