hi John – I love your podcast and all your ideas – I was just browsing and wondered what you were up to these days when I listened to what you have to say for this coming Sunday. I’m retired now but was reminded of a time when we had to be out of our church building for an extended period and before we left I brought out a very small suitcase and asked the children what we really needed to take with us to meet every Sunday in the premises we hired so that we could still be church. They decided we needed a bible, a standing cross, a goblet and a teapot! So that we would have the word of God, a symbol of our faith, the capacity to share communion and a reminder that we needed the fellowship of each other. Thank you for reminding me of this.
