Text: Mark 8:31-38, Genesis 17:1-7, 15-16

Dollar Store Item: Hard Puzzle, Book with big words, Lego Set, Something with LOTS of steps.

The Take Away: Sarah laughs, Peter can’t see why Jesus has to die! Things get hard. Jesus knows about doing hard things, and walks with us even when life gets really hard. We get to help people, as friends of Jesus.

Dollar Store Item: Something I don’t like, or havent tried (like Kale), and I want to try to stop someone from eating it. Or I don’t like jumping jacks, or excercise, so I try to stop someone from doing it.

The Take Away: Jesus calls all to come to him, even when we try to stop them.
