Sunday: 1st Sunday of Christmas / New Years Eve

Revised Common Lectionary – Year B

Text: Luke 2:22-40, Galatians 4:4-7

Dollar Store Item: The End of something. The Book, “The Monster at the End of the Book.” A candle that is nearly the end. A Baptismal Candle to talk about blessings, or a sign of the Cross with Baptismal Waters.

The Take Away: Endings can seem scary, but with God’s Grace and Love, endings are but beginnings. In the End, God makes all things new. End of the year, reminds of the New Year. Jesus is taken to the temple for a blessing, and we are blessed in this place.

The Take Away: Beginning of the Good News… we get to continue telling the story!
