Sunday: Fourteenth Sunday after Pentecost

Revised Common Lectionary – Year A

Text: Matthew 16:21-28, Romans 12:9-21

Dollar Store Item: Rubberband, Party Favor, a bag of sugar, shovel, or something that can have two purposes.

The Take Away: Drawing near our enemies removes tensiion; We treat everyone as if they were Jesus; We are both Saint and Sinner, and Jesus loves us. (Pairing last week’s Gospel and this weeks).

Narrative Lectionary

Sunday: Coming back September 10th

I am taking a break from Narrative for this summer, as it is hard for me to do this for the summer as so many are doing different things.

We will be back in September.
